What is GeoGraphle?
GeoGraphle is a daily geography puzzle collection. Each day you get a set of country-guessing challenges: identify a country from its flag colors, from a zooming map silhouette, from a grid of eight attribute clues, place countries in correct rankings, and order countries in a top 5 list. Alongside the daily games there is a learn mode for practicing flags, capitals and country shapes through quizzes, flashcards or timed play. The daily set refreshes at midnight UTC, and playing each day keeps your streak alive.
How GeoGraphle works
- Goal
Identify countries from flags, silhouettes, clue grids and rankings, and keep a daily streak going.
- Your moves
- Guess the country from its flag colors
- Name the country from a zooming map silhouette
- Deduce the country from eight attribute clues in a grid
- Place countries in the correct rankings
- Order countries in a top 5 list
- Reading the feedback
- Daily score
- Your combined results across the day's mini-games, out of a maximum of 12,000.
- Streak count
- How many consecutive days you have completed; it resets if a day is missed.
- When a round ends
Each day's set of challenges ends with a daily score out of 12,000; a fresh set appears at midnight UTC, and missing a day resets the streak.
Your first round
- Open the day's daily set after midnight UTC.
- Identify the country shown by its flag colors in the flag mini-game.
- Name the country as its map silhouette zooms into view.
- Work through the grid of eight attribute clues to pin down that mode's country.
- Place and order countries in the rankings and top 5 games to finish the set and earn your daily score.
Easy to miss
- Each mode uses a different country per day, so do not expect one country across the whole set.
- The daily score is out of 12,000, giving a consistent benchmark to compare your results day to day.
- Missing a single day resets the streak, though the best streak is kept on record.
- Learn mode defaults to 20 questions and covers 185 countries for practice on flags, capitals and shapes.
